Mark Tatum

Mark Tatum is the Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer of the National Basketball Association and is responsible for all business operations, including overseeing the Global Marketing Partnerships, Global Operations and Merchandising, and Team Marketing and Business Operations departments.  He also oversees the Women’s National Basketball Association and the NBA Development League, as well as the league’s Communications, Content and Marketing groups.  

Prior to joining the NBA, Tatum worked for Major League Baseball in Corporate Sponsorship and Marketing, The Clorox Company as a Regional Sales Manager, Pepsi-Cola Company in Sports Marketing department, and Procter & Gamble in sales management. 

Tatum serves on the boards of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, USA Basketball, the Harvard Business School Club of New York, and The Partnership for Drug-Free Kids. He is also a trustee at Princeton Day School, a member of the Executive Leadership Council, and serves on the Cornell College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Deans Advisory Council. 

Tatum received a B.S. in Business Management from Cornell University and a MBA from Harvard University.

Erika Irish Brown

Erika Irish Brown recently joined Bloomberg LP as Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion. In this role she will collaborate with senior management to drive the company’s global strategy and approach to diversity and inclusion, ensuring alignment with business goals. Additionally, Erika will have oversight across Bloomberg Communities (Employee Networks) and external partnerships to promote an institutional culture and inclusive environment that supports diversity in all aspects of the business.

Prior to Joining Bloomberg, Erika was Head of Diversity Recruiting and Program Management and Head of Executive Recruiting at Bank of America. Erika’s background also includes over 15 years of investment banking and capital markets experience at organizations including Morgan Stanley, the U.S. Treasury and Lehman Brothers.

Erika received her MBA from Columbia Business School and holds a BS in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany. She is currently Vice-Chair and Director of the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation and Director and Nominating Committee Chair of the Council of Urban Professionals (CUP.)
